And the Lord said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people:

Ary Jehovah niteny tamin' i Mosesy ka nanao hoe: Mitenena amin' ireo mpisorona, zanak' i Arona, hoe: Aoka ianareo tsy hisy hiditra am-paty eo amin' ny fireneny,

Ary hoy Iaveh tamin' i Moizy: Mitenena amin' ny mpisorona zanak' i Aarona ka lazao azy ireo hoe: Aza misy mandoto tena raha misy maty eo amin' ny fireneny,

Yahvé dit à Moïse : Parle aux prêtres, fils d' Aaron ; tu leur diras : Aucun d' eux ne se rendra impur près du cadavre de l' un des siens,

Lev 21:2

But for his kin, that is near unto him, that is, for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother.

afa-tsy amin' ny tahaka ny tenany, dia ny reniny sy ny rainy sy ny zananilahy sy ny zananivavy ary ny rahalahiny;

afa tsy amin' ny havany miray rà aminy, ny reniny, ny rainy, ny zanany lahy, ny zanany vavy, ny rahalahiny,

sinon pour sa parenté la plus proche : mère, père, fils, fille, frère.

Lev 21:3

And for his sister a virgin, that is nigh unto him, which hath had no husband; for her may he be defiled.

ary amin' ny fatin' ny anabaviny, izay tahaka ny tenany ihany koa sady tsy mbola manam-bady fa virijina, no ahazoany mandoto ny tenany.

ary ny anabaviny, virjiny miray trano aminy fa mbola tsy manam-bady; raha izy io no maty dia mahazo mandoto tena izy.

Pour sa soeur vierge qui reste sa proche parente puisqu' elle n' a pas appartenu à un homme, il pourra se rendre impur ;

Lev 21:4

But he shall not defile himself, being a chief man among his people, to profane himself.

Tsy hiditra am-paty hametaveta ny tenany izy, satria andriana eo amin' ny fireneny izy.

Filohany amin' ny fireneny izy ka tsy handoto tena na hanamavo ny fiamboniany.

pour une femme mariée parmi les siens, il ne se rendra pas impur : il se profanerait.

Lev 21:5

They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.

Tsy hanasola ny lohany izy, na hanaratra ny vaokany, na hitetika ny tenany.

Ny mpisorona tsy hanaratra ny lohany, tsy hanala ny sisin' ny volombavany, ary tsy hanisy tetika amin' ny tenany.

Ils ne se feront pas de tonsure sur la tête, ils ne se raseront pas le bord de la barbe et ne se feront pas d' incisions sur le corps.

Lev 21:6

They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the Lord made by fire, and the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.

Ho masina ho an' Andriamaniny izy ka tsy hanamavo ny anaran' Andriamaniny; fa mpanatitra ny fanatitra atao amin' ny afo ho an' i Jehovah izy, dia ny hanin' Andriamaniny, ka dia tokony ho masina.

Ho masina ho an' ny Andriamaniny izy, ary tsy hanevateva ny anaran' ny Andriamaniny, satria izy ireo manolotra amin' ny Tompo ny sorona dorana amin' ny afo, ny mofon' ny Andriamaniny, ho masina izy.

Ils seront consacrés à leur Dieu et ne profaneront point le nom de leur Dieu : ce sont eux en effet qui apportent les mets de Yahvé, nourriture de leur Dieu, et ils doivent être en état de sainteté.

Lev 21:7

They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.

Aoka tsy hanambady izay vehivavy mpijangajanga ka voaloto izy, ary aoka tsy hanambady vehivavy izay efa nisaoran' ny lahy; fa masina ho an' Andriamaniny ny mpisorona.

Tsy hanambady vehivavy janga na efa afa-baraka izy; tsy hanambady vehivavy efa voasaotry ny lahy, fa masina ho an' ny Andriamaniny ny mpisorona.

Ils ne prendront pas pour épouse une femme prostituée et profanée, ni une femme que son mari a chassée, car le prêtre est consacré à son Dieu.

Lev 21:8

Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be holy unto thee: for I the Lord, which sanctify you, am holy.

Dia hamasino izy, fa ny hanin' Andriamanitrao no ateriny; ho masina aminao izy, fa masina Aho Jehovah, Izay manamasina anareo.

Hataonao ho masina izy, fa manolotra ny mofon' ny Andriamanitrao, ka ho masina ho anao, satria masina aho Iaveh, izay manamasina anareo.

Tu le traiteras comme un être saint car il offre la nourriture de ton Dieu. Il sera pour toi un être saint car je suis saint, moi Yahvé qui vous sanctifie.

Lev 21:9

And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.

Ary raha ny zanakavavin' ny mpisorona mandoto ny tenany amin' ny fijangajangana, dia efa manamavo ny rainy izy ka hodorana amin' ny afo.

Raha zanakavavin' ny mpisorona no manala bara-tena mijangajanga dia manala baraka an-drainy izy, ka hodorana amin' ny afo.

Si la fille d' un homme qui est prêtre se profane en se prostituant, elle profane son père et doit être brûlée au feu.

Lev 21:10

And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;

Ary ny mpisoronabe, izay nalaina tamin' ny rahalahiny, ka nanidinana ny diloilo fanosorana ny lohany, sady natokana hitafy ny fitafiana, dia aoka tsy hirakaraka volo, na handriatra ny fitafiany.

Quant au prêtre qui a la prééminence sur ses frères, lui sur la tête duquel est versée l' huile d' onction et qui reçoit l' investiture en revêtant les habits sacrés, il ne déliera pas ses cheveux, il ne déchirera pas ses vêtements,

Lev 21:11

Neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother;

Ary aoka tsy hiditra am-paty akory izy, ka tsy handoto ny tenany na dia amin' ny rainy aman-dreniny aza.

Tsy hiditra am-paty izy ka tsy handoto ny tenany, na amin' ny rainy na amin' ny reniny.

il ne viendra près du cadavre d' aucun mort et ne se rendra pas impur ni pour son père ni pour sa mère.

Lev 21:12

Neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the Lord.

Ary aoka tsy hivoaka avy amin' ny fitoerana masina izy, na handoto ny fitoera-masin' Andriamaniny; fa ny diademany, dia ny diloilo fanosoran' Andriamaniny azy, no eo an-dohany: Izaho no Jehovah.

Il ne sortira pas du lieu saint, de manière à ne pas profaner le sanctuaire de son Dieu, car il porte sur lui-même la consécration de l' huile d' onction de son Dieu. Je suis Yahvé.

Lev 21:13

And he shall take a wife in her virginity.

Il prendra pour épouse une femme encore vierge.

Lev 21:14

A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.

Lev 21:15

Neither shall he profane his seed among his people: for I the Lord do sanctify him.

Tsy hanao izay hanala baraka ny taranany eo amin' ny fireneny izy, fa izaho no Iaveh manamasina azy.

il ne profanera point sa descendance, car c' est moi, Yahvé, qui l' ai sanctifiée.

Lev 21:16

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

Ary niteny tamin' i Moizy Iaveh nanao hoe:

Yahvé parla à Moïse et dit :

Lev 21:17

Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.

Mitenena amin' i Arona hoe: Izay rehetra misy kilema amin' ny zanakao, amin' ny taranany hatramin' ny fara mandimby, dia aoka tsy hanakaiky fanatitra ny hanin' Andriamaniny;

Mitenena amin' i Aarona ka lazao hoe: Tsy hisy hanatona hanolotra ny mofon' ny Andriamanitrao, izay olona rehetra manan-kilemam-batana, amin' ny taranakao hatramin' ny fara mandimby.

Parle à Aaron et dis-lui : Nul de tes descendants, à quelque génération que ce soit, ne s' approchera pour offrir l' aliment de son Dieu s' il a une infirmité.

Lev 21:18

For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,

Fa izay rehetra misy kilema dia tsy mahazo manakaiky hanao izany na ny jamba, na ny mandringa, na ny petaka orona, na ny manana amby,

Fa izay manan-kilemam-batana na iza na iza, dia tsy hanatona: na olona jamba, na mandringa, na izay nahafahana, na izay manan' amby;

Car aucun homme ne doit s' approcher s' il a une infirmité, que ce soit un aveugle ou un boiteux, un homme défiguré ou déformé,

Lev 21:19

Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,

na ny tapa-tongotra, na ny tapa-tanana,

na olona misy tapaka amin' ny tongony na amin' ny tànany,

un homme dont le pied ou le bras soit fracturé,

Lev 21:20

Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;

na ny vokoka, na ny sahozanina, na ny misy pentimpentina eo amin' ny masony, na ny hatenina, na ny tsingaohina, na ny torotoro vihy.

izay vokoka, na zeny, na mipentina ny masony, izay hatenina, izay anakandroana, ny torotoro vihy.

un bossu, un rachitique, un homme atteint d' ophtalmie, de dartre ou de plaies purulentes, ou un eunuque.

Lev 21:21

No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the Lord made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.

Ny olona rehetra amin' ny zanak' i Arona mpisorona izay misy kilema dia tsy mahazo manakaiky hanatitra ny fanatitra atao amin' ny afo ho an' i Jehovah; misy kilema izy ka tsy mahazo manakaiky hanatitra ny hanin' Andriamaniny.

Tsy hisy hanatona hanolotra ny sorona atao amin' ny afo ho an' ny Tompo ny olon-drehetra amin' ny taranak' i Aarona mpisorona, izay manan-kilemam-batana, fa manan-kilemam-batana izy, ka aza manatona izy hanolotra ny mofon' ny Andriamaniny.

Nul des descendants d' Aaron, le prêtre, ne pourra s' approcher pour offrir les mets de Yahvé s' il a une infirmité ; il a une infirmité, il ne s' approchera pas pour offrir la nourriture de son Dieu.

Lev 21:22

He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.

Ny hanin' Andriamaniny, izay avy amin' ny zavatra masina indrindra sy ny zavatra masina, dia azony hanina ihany;

Azony hanina ihany ny mofon' ny Andriamaniny, ny zava-masina dia masina, ny zava-masina.

Il pourra manger des aliments de son Dieu, choses très saintes et choses saintes,

Lev 21:23

Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the Lord do sanctify them.

mais il ne viendra pas auprès du rideau et ne s' approchera pas de l' autel ; il a une infirmité et ne doit pas profaner mes objets sacrés, car c' est moi, Yahvé, qui les ai sanctifiés.

Lev 21:24

And Moses told it unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel.

Ary Mosesy dia nilaza izany tamin' i Arona sy ny zanany ary ny Zanak' Isiraely rehetra.

Dia nolazain' i Moizy izany tamin' i Aarona sy ny zanany ary ny zanak' Israely rehetra.

Et Moïse le dit à Aaron, à ses fils et à tous les Israélites.
