Yahvé parla à Moïse sur le mont Sinaï ; il dit :

Lev 25:2

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the Lord.

Mitenena amin' ny Zanak' Isiraely hoe: Rehefa tonga any amin' ny tany izay omeko anareo ianareo, aoka hisy fitsaharana ho an' ny tany, dia sabata ho an' i Jehovah.

Lev 25:3

Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;

Lev 25:4

But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the Lord: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.

Lev 25:5

That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.

tu ne moissonneras pas tes épis, qui ne seront pas mis en gerbe, et tu ne vendangeras pas tes raisins, qui ne seront pas émondés. Ce sera pour la terre une année de repos.

Lev 25:6

And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee.

Lev 25:7

And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.

Lev 25:8

And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.

Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

Lev 25:10

And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

Vous déclarerez sainte cette cinquantième année et proclamerez l' affranchissement de tous les habitants du pays. Ce sera pour vous un jubilé : chacun de vous rentrera dans son patrimoine, chacun de vous retournera dans son clan.

Lev 25:11

A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.

Cette cinquantième année sera pour vous une année jubilaire : vous ne sèmerez pas, vous ne moissonnerez pas les épis qui n' auront pas été mis en gerbe, vous ne vendangerez pas les ceps qui auront poussé librement.

Lev 25:12

For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.

Lev 25:14

And if thou sell ought unto thy neighbour, or buyest ought of thy neighbour' s hand, ye shall not oppress one another:

Lev 25:15

According to the number of years after the jubile thou shalt buy of thy neighbour, and according unto the number of years of the fruits he shall sell unto thee:

C' est en fonction du nombre d' années écoulées depuis le jubilé que tu achèteras à ton compatriote ; c' est en fonction du nombre d' années productives qu' il te fixera le prix de vente.

Lev 25:16

According to the multitude of years thou shalt increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of years thou shalt diminish the price of it: for according to the number of the years of the fruits doth he sell unto thee.

Araka ny hamaron' ny taona no hampitomboanao ny vidiny, ary araka ny havitsin' ny taona sisa no hampihenanao ny vidiny; fa araka ny isan' ny fararano no hivarotany aminao.

Plus sera grand le nombre d' années, plus tu augmenteras le prix, moins il y aura d' années, plus tu le réduiras, car c' est un certain nombre de récoltes qu' il te vend.

Lev 25:17

Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God:for I am the Lord your God.

Ary aza misy manao sarotra ianareo, fa matahora an' Andriamanitrao; fa Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.

Que nul d' entre vous ne lèse son compatriote, mais aie la crainte de ton Dieu, car c' est moi Yahvé votre Dieu.

Lev 25:18

Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.

Ary araho ny didiko, ary tandremo ny fitsipiko, ka araho izy; dia handry fahizay amin' ny tany ianareo.

Araho ny didiko; tandremo ny fitsipiko, ary tanteraho izany, ka handry fahizay amin' ny tany hianareo.

Vous mettrez en pratique mes lois et mes coutumes, vous les garderez pour les mettre en pratique, et ainsi vous habiterez dans le pays en sécurité.

Lev 25:19

And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.

Lev 25:20

And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:

Pour le cas où vous diriez : " Que mangerons-nous en cette septième année si nous n' ensemençons pas et ne récoltons pas nos produits ? " -

Lev 25:21

Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.

Lev 25:22

And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store.

Ary hamafy amin' ny taona fahavalo ianareo ka hihinana ny tranainy mandra-pahatongan' ny taona fahasivy; mandra-pahatongan' ny vao no hihinananareo ny tranainy.

Quand vous sèmerez la huitième année vous pourrez encore manger des produits anciens jusqu'à la neuvième année ; jusqu'à ce que viennent les produits de cette année-là vous mangerez des anciens.

Lev 25:23

The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine, for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.

Ary ny tany tsy hatao varo-maty, satria Ahy ny tany; fa vahiny sy mpivahiny amiko ianareo.

La terre ne sera pas vendue avec perte de tout droit, car la terre m' appartient et vous n'êtes pour moi que des étrangers et des hôtes.

Lev 25:24

And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.

Pour toute propriété foncière vous laisserez un droit de rachat sur le fonds.

Lev 25:25

If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold.

Si ton frère tombe dans la gêne et doit vendre de son patrimoine, son plus proche parent viendra chez lui exercer ses droits familiaux sur ce que vend son frère.

Lev 25:26

And if the man have none to redeem it, and himself be able to redeem it;

Then let him count the years of the sale thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it; that he may return unto his possession.

Lev 25:28

But if he be not able to restore it to him, then that which is sold shall remain in the hand of him that hath bought it until the year of jubile: and in the jubile it shall go out, and he shall return unto his possession.

Lev 25:29

And if a man sell a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; within a full year may he redeem it.

Ary raha misy olona mivarotra trano itoerana ao amin' ny tanàna mimanda, dia hahazo manavotra azy izy mandra-pahatapitry ny herintaona nivarotany azy; fa ao anatin' izany no hahazoany manavotra azy.

Si quelqu' un vend une maison d' habitation dans une ville enclose d' une muraille, il aura droit de rachat jusqu'à l' expiration de l' année qui suit la vente ; son droit de rachat est limité à l' année

Lev 25:30

And if it be not redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be established for ever to him that bought it throughout his generations: it shall not go out in the jubile.

et, si le rachat n' a pas été fait à l' expiration de l' année, cette maison en ville close sera la propriété de l' acquéreur et de ses descendants à l' exclusion de tout autre droit : il n' aura pas à en sortir au jubilé.

Lev 25:31

But the houses of the villages which have no wall round about them shall be counted as the fields of the country: they may be redeemed, and they shall go out in the jubile.

Fa ny trano ao amin' ny vohitra izay tsy misy manda manodidina kosa dia hatao taha, ka ny tany ihany; ho azo avotana ihany izany, na ho afaka amin' ny Jobily.

Fa ny trano ao amin' ny tanàna tsy voaisy manda manodidina kosa, dia hatao momba ny tany ihany: azo avotana ireny, ary ho afaka amin' ny Jobile.

Mais les maisons des villages non enclos de murailles seront considérées comme sises à la campagne, elles comporteront droit de rachat et l' acquéreur en devra sortir au jubilé.

Lev 25:32

Notwithstanding the cities of the Levites, and the houses of the cities of their possession, may the Levites redeem at any time.

Kanefa ny amin' ny tanànan' ny Levita, ny trano ao amin' ny tanàna izay ho anjarany dia ho azon' ny Levita avotana ihany na oviana na oviana.

Lev 25:33

And if a man purchase of the Levites, then the house that was sold, and the city of his possession, shall go out in the year of jubile: for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children of Israel.

Ary raha misy Levita manavotra azy, dia ho afaka amin' ny Jobily ny trano izay namidy sy ny tanàna izay anjarany; fa ny trano ao an-tanànan' ny Levita dia lovany ao amin' ny Zanak' Isiraely.

Raha misy mividy trano amin' ny Levita, dia ho afaka amin' ny Jobile ny trano namidy ao amin' ny tanàna efa nomena azy ireo; satria ny trano ao an-tanànan' ny Levita dia fananany eo afovoan' ny zanak' Israely.

Et si c' est un lévite qui subit l' effet du droit de rachat, il quittera au jubilé le bien vendu pour retourner à sa maison, à la ville où il a un titre de propriété. Les maisons des villes des lévites sont en effet leur propriété au milieu des Israélites,

Lev 25:34

But the field of the suburbs of their cities may not be sold; for it is their perpetual possession.

et les champs de culture dépendant de ces villes ne pourront pas être vendus, car c' est leur propriété pour toujours.

Lev 25:35

And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with thee.

Ary raha mihamalahelo ny rahalahinao izay miara-monina aminao ka reraka, dia vonjeo izy, ka aoka mba ho velona eo aminao tahaka ny vahiny sy ny mpivahiny izy.

Raha misy rahalahinao mihamahantra sy mihaosa tànana eo akaikinao, na dia izay hafa firenena na vahiny aza, dia tohàny izy, mba hivelona eo akaikinao.

Si ton frère qui vit avec toi tombe dans la gêne et s' avère défaillant dans ses rapports avec toi, tu le soutiendras à titre d'étranger ou d' hôte et il vivra avec toi.

Lev 25:36

Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee.

Aza maka zana-bola na tombony aminy; fa matahora an' Andriamanitrao, mba ho velona eo aminao ny rahalahinao.

Aza maka zana-bola na tombony aminy, fa matahora ny Andriamanitrao, ka aoka hivelona eo akaikinao ny rahalahinao.

Ne lui prends ni travail ni intérêts, mais aie la crainte de ton Dieu et que ton frère vive avec toi.

Lev 25:37

Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase.

Tu ne lui donneras pas d' argent pour en tirer du profit ni de la nourriture pour en percevoir des intérêts :

Lev 25:38

I am the Lord your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.

Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo, Izay nitondra anareo nivoaka avy tany amin' ny tany Egypta, hanome anareo ny tany Kanana, mba ho Andriamanitrareo.

Lev 25:39

And if thy brother that dwelleth by thee be waxen poor, and be sold unto thee; thou shalt not compel him to serve as a bondservant:

Ary raha mihamalahelo ny rahalahinao ka mivaro-tena aminao, aza ampanompoinao toy ny andevo izy;

Raha mihamahantra ny rahalahinao eo akaikinao, ka mivaro-tena aminao, aza dia ampanaovina asan' andevo izy,

Lev 25:40

But as an hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall be with thee, and shall serve thee unto the year of jubile.

il sera pour toi comme un salarié ou un hôte et travaillera avec toi jusqu'à l' année jubilaire.

Lev 25:41

And then shall he depart from thee, both he and his children with him, and shall return unto his own family, and unto the possession of his fathers shall he return.

Dia ho afaka izy sy ny zanany ka hody amin' ny mpianakaviny sy amin' ny tanin-drazany koa.

Amin' io dia ho afaka izy mbamin' ny zanany miaraka aminy, ka hody any amin' ny fianakaviany sy hiverina amin' ny fananan-drazany indray.

Alors il te quittera, lui et ses enfants, et il retournera dans son clan, il rentrera dans la propriété de ses pères.

Lev 25:42

For they are my servants, which I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: they shall not be sold as bondmen.

Lev 25:43

Thou shalt not rule over him with rigour; but shalt fear thy God.

Tu n' exerceras pas sur lui un pouvoir de contrainte mais tu auras la crainte de ton Dieu.

Lev 25:44

Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids.

Ary ny amin' izay ho andevolahinao sy andevovavinao, dia amin' ny jentilisa izay manodidina anareo no hividiananareo azy.

Ireo firenena manodidina anao no azonao angalana andevo lahy na vavy, mba ho anao; amin' ireo no hividiananareo ankizilahy aman' ankizivavy.

Les serviteurs et servantes que tu auras viendront des nations qui vous entourent ; c' est d' elles que vous pourrez acquérir serviteurs et servantes.

Lev 25:45

Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession.

Ary amin' ny zanaky ny vahiny eo aminareo sy amin' ny taranany izay haterany eo amin' ny taninareo no hividiananareo koa; ary dia ho fanananareo izany.

Ireo zana-bahiny mitoetra eo aminareo koa no azonareo hividianana, na ireo fianakavian' izy ireo, izay miara-monina aminareo, sy naterany teo amin' ny taninareo; ka dia ho fanananareo ireny.

De plus vous en pourrez acquérir parmi les enfants des hôtes qui résident chez vous ainsi que de leurs familles qui vivent avec vous et qu' ils ont engendrées sur votre sol : ils seront votre propriété

Lev 25:46

And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour.

Ary hataonareo lovan' ny zanakareo mandimby anareo izany ho fananana holovany ka hampanompoinareo mandrakizay fa ny Zanak' Isiraely rahalahinareo dia aza mba ampanompoina fatratra.

et vous les laisserez en héritage à vos fils après vous pour qu' ils les possèdent à titre de propriété perpétuelle. Vous les aurez pour esclaves, mais sur vos frères, les Israélites, nul n' exercera un pouvoir de contrainte.

Lev 25:47

And if a sojourner or stranger wax rich by thee, and thy brother that dwelleth by him wax poor, and sell himself unto the stranger or sojourner by thee, or to the stock of the stranger' s family:

Ary raha tonga manan-karena ny vahiny izay monina eo aminao na ny mpivahiny, ary ny rahalahinao eo aminy mihamalahelo kosa ka mivaro-tena amin' ny vahiny eo aminao, na amin' ny taranaky ny vahiny;

Si l'étranger ou celui qui est ton hôte atteint une certaine aisance alors que ton frère, dans ses rapports avec lui, tombe dans la gêne et se vend à cet étranger, à cet hôte, ou au descendant de la famille d' un résident,

Lev 25:48

After that he is sold he may be redeemed again; one of his brethren may redeem him:

Lev 25:49

Either his uncle, or his uncle' s son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him; or if he be able, he may redeem himself.

na ny rahalahin-drainy, na ny zanak' olo-mirahalahy aminy, na izay havany akaiky azy amin' ny mpianakaviny no mahazo manavotra azy; kanefa raha tratry ny ananany, dia hanavo-tena izy.

Pourront le racheter son oncle paternel, le fils de son oncle ou l' un des membres de sa famille ; ou, s' il en a les moyens, il pourra se racheter lui-même.

Lev 25:50

And he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he was sold to him unto the year of jubile: and the price of his sale shall be according unto the number of years, according to the time of an hired servant shall it be with him.

En accord avec celui qui l' a acquis, il fera le compte des années comprises entre l' année de la vente et l' année jubilaire ; le montant du prix de vente sera évalué en fonction des années, en comptant ses journées comme celles d' un salarié.

Lev 25:51

If there be yet many years behind, according unto them he shall give again the price of his redemption out of the money that he was bought for.

Lev 25:52

And if there remain but few years unto the year of jubile, then he shall count with him, and according unto his years shall he give him again the price of his redemption.

Any raha vitsy kosa ny taona sisa mandra-pahatongan' ny taona Jobily, dia hanisa izany aminy izy, ka ara-kevitry ny taona ihany no handoavany ny vola avony.

Ary raha vitsy sisa ny taona hatramin' ny Jobile, dia hisaina izany: hatao arak' izany taona izany ny vola avony haloany.

S' il ne reste que peu d' années à courir jusqu' au jubilé, c' est en fonction de leur nombre qu' il calculera ce qu' il remboursera pour son rachat,

Lev 25:53

And as a yearly hired servant shall he be with him: and the other shall not rule with rigour over him in thy sight.

Tahaka izay karamaina isan-taona no hitoerany eo aminy; fa aoka tsy hampanompoina fatratra eo imasonao izy.

Ho toy ny mpikarama an-taona no ho fitoetrany ao aminy; ary tsy ho an-kalozana no hitondrany azy, eo imasonao.

comme s' il était salarié à l' année. On ne le traitera pas arbitrairement sous tes yeux.

Lev 25:54

And if he be not redeemed in these years, then he shall go out in the year of jubile, both he, and his children with him.

Ary raha tsy voavotra amin' izay izy, dia ho afaka amin' ny taona Jobily izy sy ny zanany koa.

Raha tsy misy hanavotana azy akory, dia ho afaka amin' ny taona Jobile izy mbamin' ny zanany miaraka aminy.

S' il n' a été racheté d' aucune de ces manières, c' est en l' année jubilaire qu' il s' en ira, lui et ses enfants avec lui.

Lev 25:55

For unto me the children of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

Fa mpanompoko ny Zanak' Isiraely, dia mpanompoko izay nentiko nivoaka avy tany amin' ny tany Egypta: Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.

Satria amiko ny zanak' Israely no mpanompo; mpanompoko nentiko nivoaka avy any amin' ny tany Ejipta izy. Izaho no Iaveh Andriamanitrareo.

Car c' est de moi que les Israélites sont les serviteurs ; ce sont mes serviteurs que j' ai fait sortir du pays d'Égypte. Je suis Yahvé votre Dieu.
